Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Location US-PA-Malvern | US-GA-Atlanta


Our client is a fast-growing fintech company that is improving the unattended retail industry’s business operations. They are looking for a seasoned Azure DevOps engineer to assist them with a large migration. They are looking someone with deep experience in supporting the full experience in Microsoft technologies including Azure, .NET, Powershell, C#, and application support. Must have experience migrating infrastructure, applications and databases to Azure.


  • Create and manage Windows based Infrastructure as Code to provision and monitor platforms, applications, and services in our cloud platforms.
  • Strong experience in designing, writing, and delivering scripts to perform server builds, monitoring, application migration and testing in Azure environment.
  • Monitor and support Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments including servers and applications. Implement monitors, alerts, and dashboards. Evolve systems as necessary.
  • Perform application support activities including triage, troubleshooting resolution of C#, Windows OS, MS SQL databases.
  • Deploy and support C# based applications for certification and production environments
  • Work with Development, QA and Network Operations teams to troubleshoot and mitigate production issues.
  • Automate Improvements related to Monitoring utilizing Application Insights and New Relic.
  • Conduct performance and capacity investigations and provide resolutions.
  • Deep understanding and self-driven to perform necessary steps in troubleshooting and resolving incidents or failed tests.


  • 5+ years-experience in deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows based servers and .NET applications in a cloud environment.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting infrastructure and applications in Azure, CI/CD, Terraform, Jenkins and Octopus.
  • Programming or scripting skills (Python, Perl, Java, C#).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Experience with micro services, containers, Kubernetes and other cloud tools in support of large platform.
  • Experience in deploying and configuring monitoring tools such as New Relic or Application Insights. Must have experience with configuring, deploying, and tuning monitoring agents.
  • Self-driven and ability to identify issues and work to resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Work across geographical and diverse team.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environment.
