• Lead a scrum team of 9 Senior Java Engineers through a vital software refactoring project
• Lead daily standups, bi-weekly sprint planning sessions and executive facing demos
• Guide teams to success and mitigate risks before they occur
• Provide strong coaching on agile best practices and encourage teams during challenging sprint goals
• Gather business requirements and work with product owners to translate them to technical requirements
• Monitor deployment schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Participate in code reviews and drive teams to success by enforcing industry best practices for writing code
• Provide creative solutions for successful delivery and pivot quickly when results are not being met

• Highly technical experience required. Qualified candidates will have experience as a software engineer, architect or technical coach  
• 5+ years of recent experience working within a Java environment
• 7+ years of experience as a senior Scrum Master and Agile Coach
• Strong knowledge of the financial industry and associated engineering best practices                                
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining a positive environment for engineers
• Proven ability to remain highly organized in order to quickly report statuses to executive level leadership  
• Hands on leadership skills in a fast paced environment
