    About the Role

    Terrific opportunity to sell IT solutions in the pharma/healthcare space!  Our client, a rapidly growing, clinically-validated IT solution for the health care space, is looking for a Regional Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our HCP customers. This exciting start-up organization bridges the gap between Type 2 Diabetics and Primary Care by analyzing critical information from patients to enable quicker, better, safer, and more economical care. The Regional Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned HCP's, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek and close new sales opportunities.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary communication hub for HCP's in your region
    • Seek out and close new accounts
    • Organically grow revenue with existing accounts
    • Build long-term rapport with HCP's and their staff
    • Negotiate contracts effectively
    • Resolve customer disputes and attend to inquiries
    • Provide reports on account
    • Find other opportunities to assist with the growth of the company
    • Develop ideas/strategies to help build a good relationship with clients
    • Own and resolve critical issues and escalations

     

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, Account Manager, Nurse Educator, or related sales professional in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or health care
    • Excellent communication skills; comfortable speaking with clinical staff (physicians, PA's, nurses, medical assistants) in endocrinology and primary care practices
    • Knowledgeable about delivering solutions based on customer needs
    • Ability to manage multiple projects
    • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
    • Expertise in demo-ing and training software products on a computer and smartphone HIGHLY PREFERRED
    • Familiar with CRM software, billing systems, and general workplace productivity tools (HubSpot, Slack, Dropbox, MS Office, Google Forms)
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
