About the Company 

Our client has been the leading creator of online meal plans providing 15+ food style plans to hundreds of thousands of customers.  Through our client's mobile app, users get 7 new weekly recipes of their preferred food style such as Paleo, Clean Eating or Gluten Free along with access to past favorite recipes.  The app automatically creates grocery lists that users can shop for themselves or have delivered by Instacart or gathered for curbside pickup at Kroger or Walmart Grocery. Our client is a high growth, privately owned company based in Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented designer to join their growing marketing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth Marketing, you will own the ideation to the creation of all visual assets to bring our client's exciting marketing initiatives to life. The designer will also work with Product Design to build their brand visual identity that reflects our client’s company values and elevates our brand. 

Responsibilities

• Work with Head of Growth Marketing to define our client's visual identity across all marketing communications
• Create new landing pages and work flows to be tested on the web and app based on brainstorm thoughts and feedback from the marketing and growth team
• Design all email marketing campaigns with a focus on promotional and drip emails that convert leads, reactivate expired users, engage non-active users and on-board new users
• Create assets for paid acquisition including images and videos with a focus on paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube
• Manage multiple projects at once, while setting appropriate expectations and meeting realistic deadlines
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders when presenting your work and clearly articulate your design rationale

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic or visual design
• Strong portfolio of relevant marketing, brand, or promotional work across web, email, print and other channels
• Deep knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and InVision
• Solid understanding of direct response design and data-oriented testing
• Creativity to test new ideas and continuously improve business results
• Effective communicator, presenter with eagerness to give and receive feedback
• HTML and CSS experience a plus but not required
