What we're looking for

 

Our client is looking to add an additional Application Support Analyst to help their existing team with supporting existing applications as well as to help with the support tickets. Internal stakeholders who submit tickets to the Application Support team on behalf of the customer should expect a faster turn-around time in resolution of the tickets. This will result in a better customer experience.

About the Job

  • With minimal supervision and a high degree of collaboration, debug, diagnose, and resolve problems reported by internal stakeholders.
  • Track support issues, bugs and feature requests in a production and non-production environments, working with support team and developers as needed.
  • Update documentation on our Confluence pages in JIRA with technical guides and tips.
  • Communicate complex technical information in a concise and articulate manner.
  • Ownership of and resolve customers’issues via email/JIRA, while meeting or exceeding stated service level agreement timeframe
  • Must be a confident self-starter that is able to handle multiple open items concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment.


Job Requirements

  • Experience in a support role (ticketing, resolving issues, triaging, etc).
  • Experience with PL-SQL/SQL and writing PL_SQL code is a plus.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of SDLC process.
  • Enterprise Database: Oracle
  • Retail industry knowledge and experience preferred
  • Source control knowledge is nice to have
  • Agile / Scrum experience preferred
  • Java experience not required but nice to have
