About the Role

 

The Integration Architect, as part of the diverse Enterprise Architecture team, is a key role which provides architectural vision and leadership for the Enterprise Integration initiatives across a broad spectrum of technologies. The Integration Architect will be accountable for determining the right configuration of the integration platform to suit the application strategy, and responsible for establishing the environment and instance strategy for integration platform environments. Partner with IT and business leaders in a cohesive relationship to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions as we continue to expand.

 

The selected individual for this ground floor opportunity will be responsible for laying the foundation for API management and a Portfolio of Services, across Cloud, on premise COTS and in-house developed applications, as well as leverage Enterprise Integration Platforms and create strategies for governance. Responsibilities include Portfolio Rationalization and participating in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) for governance. In addition, this individual works closely with assigned business segments to develop appropriate integration solutions and provide subject matter expertise.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10 years of professional information technology experience, including 7+ years of integration and architecture.
  • Ability to socialize the integration impact across business, information, application, technical and security   architectures.
  • Expert knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and SOA Architecture including Integration Patterns (Messaging, Routing, Data Transformation)
  • Expert knowledge of Integration technologies including Application Integration, B2B Integration, Process Integration, Business Rules and Data Integration.
  • Expert knowledge of establishing integration standards with regards to batch and real-time integrations.
  • Expert knowledge in SOA, Event Driven and Micro-Services Architecture frameworks preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge in terms of identification of canonicals and other reusable assets at the integration layer, and ability to bridge the gap between the Application Architects for interconnectivity.
  • Solid working knowledge of major enterprise integration platforms e.g., Tibco, Webmethods, Mulesoft preferred.
  • Experience with multiple middleware technologies (Application Servers, BPMS, BRMS, ESB & Message Brokers), Programming languages (e.g. Java, .Net, JavaScript), Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Red hat Linux), Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, No SQL Databases like MongoDB etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with Application Portfolio Rationalization.
